Before you start house hunting, consider the stage you are in your life and probe deeply on your career path, love life, and lifestyle.

  • Could you be anticipating a promotion that will need you to relocate?
  • Are you planning to start a family where you may outgrow that dream bachelorette pad you’ve always wanted? #Wining&Masking
  • Do you want to buy a house but travel 300 days throughout the year?

If you are expecting a promotion, congratulations! but we cannot hit the pause button on life in hopes for that promotion. Rather, we should plan for it. Same with starting your new family instead of a bachelorette pad studio, how about at least a 2 bedroom condo to start with? If you have the means to buy a home but travel often, how about becoming an AirBNB host for the time you are gone?

It’s all about determining and analyzing your current life and your new homes shelf life.

It’s a crazy feeling and we can never be too ready for anything but trust yourself. When you’re ready to put down roots and can’t imagine living anywhere else — call your Realtor to make that offer. Buying a house should be a deliberate, rational process, and a key part of your life’s chapter.
