Jeopardize your house sale

There’s many occasions where you may not want to be home while your house is For Sale. Here are 4 occasions you definitely don’t want to be home for while selling your house. I know, you may feel inclined to do so or may want to know what those Buyers thought but hey, it’s probably best to ask your Realtor for the feedback and here’s why:

Brokers Caravan / Broker Tour – this is the time where Realtors tour newly listed properties to familiarize themselves with the home and suggest your home to any of their prospective Buyers. If you’re cooking during this tour, a Realtor may not be able to see the kitchen fully, appliances and etc

Open Houses – you not only get prospective buyers who walk in but also neighbors and potential sellers. While it may seem to be a looky neighbor, they may have friends and family who may be looking to buy in the same neighborhood and it can help influence the sphere

During any showings – In general prospective buyers will feel more comfortable when you’re not present. Imagine being at a store and the sales associate is at the corner of your eye burning up your body. Same with your house sale, you want to allow Buyers the space to incision themselves living in the home

Home inspection – The Buyer and home inspector needs the privacy to speak freely throughout the property without having you tag along. Usually the Buyers Realtor will give your Realtor a copy of the home inspection anyway so ask for it later
